That was the most touching part of the whole song for me ;-; during Twilight's and NMM's brief contact with each other Twilight was able to make a connection with what was inside NMM, showing Luna. S1 could of been so much more epic if they had used that concept for the battle between Twilight and Nightmare Moon. Love the picture <3

The show was pretty tame when it started out because they didn't know yet how far they could go. Now that the writers understand just how much they're allowed to do, perhaps there will be something similar to that in the future. Fingers crossed!

It was more Hasbro limiting what they can do at the start. They had to fight just to keep egghead in because it was deemed too offensive at the start. And Hasbro was worried NMM was too scary for children.
